TRU PACE helps seniors navigate the complicated issues associated with aging. Our program helps seniors to live in their own home, whether that’s in a private residence or apartment.
Here’s an example of what a day might look like as a TRU PACE participant:
The TRU PACE center is an active place where seniors have access to medical care, social activities, exercise, therapy, and meals. Typically participants attend the center a couple of days per week based on the healthcare team’s recommendations and the needs and interests of the participant.
Your morning begins when the Via van arrives at your front door. The familiar van driver will help you get into the van comfortably. If needed, they will help you bring your laundry to TRU PACE.
When you arrive at the TRU PACE center, you may visit with the medical staff, socialize with friends, eat a lunch customized for your dietary needs, and exercise with a physical therapist to maintain strength and mobility.
Additional happenings at the center could include entertainment or a quiet talk with a social worker.
After a full day at the TRU PACE center, the Via van driver will return you to your home.
